A New Year, a new beginning, the calendar promises a fresh start. 

One day bridges the gap between what was and what could be. A day separated by seconds, bundled by minutes, holds the hope that tomorrow can heal what’s broken. 

By whose strength will this saving come? 

A child, celebrated only a few weeks prior, holds the key to true transformation. 

Jesus, present at creation, commands the rising and setting of the sun as our man-made calendar changes. The hope of His Light illuminates our path and equips us for the uncertainty each day holds. His arms spread open on the cross reconstruct the bridge between our broken hearts and the promised eternal home with His Father in Heaven. Guided by His Spirit, we find our new beginning in each moment spent with Him.

A New Year, a new opportunity to walk hand in hand with the One who lights the way!

They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
