Satisfy Your Craving for Connection
The floors were covered with footprints, and the countertops littered with empty glasses and bowls. I woke to the memory of laughter and love shared among friends. Not the kind of friends you put on a show for, but the kind that fill the house as if they’re family. Nothing hidden. Nothing masked. The raw, authentic friendships that come from years of sharing life – the heartaches, the celebrations, and the hopes yet to come. The ones you call when hope is hard to find, but you can rely on to point you towards the light. The ones that enter your mess but stay long enough to make a masterpiece, grafted together for eternity. Brothers, sisters, family – a life circle of the ones you love.
I am forever grateful for the friendships rooted in Christ that God has allowed to shape my life. Some are gifts only for a season, while others walk beside me day-by-day. Each one plays a part in shaping me, encouraging me, stretching me, and pointing me towards a life of hope that can only be found with Christ
Who are these people for you?
We all crave these types of relationships. Perhaps you haven’t been able to name the yearning you feel (especially if you’re naturally an introvert). We may be too busy filling our craving for connection with shallower pursuits such as social media, full schedules, or convenient acquaintances. When what we really need–or dare I say want–is authentic, “come as you are” connection. Safe places to talk about the realness of life – the good, the bad, and the ugly. Safe places to find hope and know that we aren’t alone.
If you’re ready for authentic relationships and heartfelt conversations, mark your calendar for this Thursday at 7:30pm EST. If you’re tired of the shallow searching and instead desire a deeper connection with friends that feel like family, you don’t want to miss our monthly LIFE Circle. Last month we shared our hearts, the hope found in Psalm 27, our favorite things we’re reading, and encouraged one another through prayer.
We were created to do life together. We were created to spur one another on in our faith. We were designed for authentic connection. Don’t miss this Thursday, June 19th for LIFE Circle, a virtual gathering of friends that we call family!
