Celebrating 3 years of LIFEstory!

If you had asked Cari and me three years ago what we were doing with LIFEstory, our answer would have been simple. 

We felt God calling us to share encouragement and hope through one email each week.

Each message would begin with a story and point back to a simple purpose—to help you live intentionally and focus eternally as you walk out your faith each day. At least, that has always been our prayer.

And honestly… if only one person found a little more hope because of our stories, we believed it was worth it. 

YOU are the reason we write!

And we LOVE to hear how our emails encourage your own GOD stories! 

What we didn’t know 3 years ago was that God wouldn’t leave us there. 

We started with fewer than 100 subscribers, and our email list has grown to over 650 people from over 7 different countries. 

That’s something only He could do!

We also never imagined that LIFEstory would grow beyond emails.

This year we published our second LIFEstory Guided Journal- The Gospel of Mark!

From guided Scripture journals to new digital resources, God has continued to expand this ministry in ways we couldn’t have planned.

God is full of surprises!

God has stretched us to step out of our comfort zones… rely on His strength, learn new skills, and take risks. 

He has taught us to make plans and then hold them loosely, trusting Him with the outcomes.

He has encouraged us to share our dreams and our struggles with Him, with each other, and with you. 

And then trust Him to use every story for His glory not ours. 

In many ways, LIFEstory isn’t just something we write—

It’s something we’re living.

With every step of faith, Cari and I are learning to live intentionally and focus eternally right alongside you.

And we are so thankful that you have chosen to share this journey with us.
